This is Donut Falls just to the right of the rocks (about 5 feet under the snow)
Moose Buddies (see the one on the right too?)
Unfortunately we didn't get pics of the elk or the bobcat, maybe next time...

Snowshoeing was so so so so so much fun! We couldn't of had a more perfect day in the mountains.
ReplyDeleteOh my heck! You saw a bobcat! One time we saw a moose and I cried because I was scared. I hate wild animals.
ReplyDeleteYes, we did see a bobcat, it darted across the road towards our house. Do you want to come over? :-)
ReplyDeleteWOW!! that is rad that you saw so many wild animals all in one day... Gina was telling the truth when she said she had a great time.
ReplyDeletePS happy bday G
Is that moose stuck up to it's neck in snow?
ReplyDeletehaha, it looks like it, eh? It was just laying down, but the snow was about 5-6 feet deep in most places. You can see some Forest Service toilet houses in one of the pics and they're buried up to the eaves.
ReplyDeleteBrad what would I do with out you and Gina helping me with all those crazy blog demons out there!?
ReplyDeleteNo worries Chuntz. I hate those little word recognition things too, in fact I haven't enabled them on this blog yet and every time I get spammed here, I just manually delete it. If the spamming gets too bad, I'm sure I'll enable word recognition here too, unfortunately. One of the banes of the internet that we just have to deal with.
ReplyDeleteI want to go snowshoeing! I've NEVER been before! I love the pic of G jumping--her face is the best!
ReplyDeleteWell we need to go then Rach! Before the snow melts,we even have kiddie snowshoes that would be perfect for Addie if you wanted to take her too. We have 7 adult pair, so let's make it a partay!
ReplyDeleteBrad you take great photos. I think you should go into the business of photography/energy efficiency. That would be a pretty good gig!
ReplyDeleteThanks Lisa, I'll keep practicing! :-)
ReplyDeleteI can't believe I've never commented and your blog! I totally suck. Great pictures! We just LOVE the Duncans. Gina is totally my BFF!
ReplyDeleteThanks for finally showing up Tiff! Glad to have you over here, anytime. Now let's see some pics of that race!
ReplyDeleteThat is soooo dang pretty. There is nothing better than snowshoeing on a perfect sunny day in a quiet serene forest with your honey!
ReplyDeleteHey Jarv, glad you made your way over here! I don't update it enough, I gotta make some time for a new post. Couldn't agree with you more about the snowshoeing!
