Panorama-bama

Since I got back from Chicago, I've been swamped with tests. Tonight I could finally breathe for a bit so I decided to do some Photoshop stitching. Here are two panoramas from the sun deck at the Thomas' condo building in Chicago. As has been posted by Gina and Alex, me and Andy were a bit camera happy while we were there. It was great having Andy there because he actually understands the whole bit. So on to the panoramas. Click on the thumbnails for the full effect.

Night Time

More pics to come as I get more time to look them over and blog about them.

Nice stitches! You'll be a great doctor!

The panoramics look awesome. I like how you distorted the top picture. Is that a different kind of stitch? I can't wait to see more.

They are the same method of stitching, but the bottom one doesn't show the concrete wall of the building so you can't really tell that it's done like that. If you look hard at the night one you can see the corner of the concrete on the left side and if you imagine where it would be on that right side, it would be like the daytime picture. You need to give it the fisheye effect to get the correct perspective of the buildings.

Gina,
Good to hear from you! Looks like you two are doing good as well.
Love that you are into Photoshop CS3, great choice! I am a big fan of the photo scene, so I am going to check your blog and see your work, if you don't mind. I am impressed, you have a great eye! I ran into Stacey Wilding today, fun to hear and see people, you haven't seen forever. Keep up the great photo and cycling. Ashlee (Nelson) Macdonald

Kristin, you're too funny!

Ashlee, feel free to have a look around. I have posted quite a few pics on some of the older posts too. It might be easiest to use the labels on the left to find photo ones.

You should drop out of med school and just take pictures of cool places! You are so good at it.

Jarv,
I'll let you know in about 6 months when all the med schools get back to me if this will have to be my option :-) Either way, it can't hurt if it helps pay for med school, right?

Cool pics. Very nice Photoshop skills. Way to put the B-day present to use. I am still using CS2, but there are still so many features that I don't know how to use that I am satisfied for a good while.

Sweeet dude! I'd love to put the night time photo on my wall for inspiration. Don't suppose you have a higher res version i could print off once and frame ? :)

Scott, email me at bradleeduncan AT gmail.com and we can discuss getting you a hi-res version.
